My name’s Cara and I’m obsessed with all things home decor. I love to be daring with colour and pattern and am enjoying creating a quirky eclectic home with a dash of glam. I started this blog as a platform to share my passion and updates on my home with you.
I’ve been into all things creative from a young age and since launching my blog in 2017, I’ve learned soooo much more about interiors that I’m making my way through the whole house again! My Story
2005
Became An Entrepreneur
I left my previous career in HR to pursue an exciting new venture with my husband Andy. We started our own building company, JCA Construction and also dabbled with property developments at around the same time.
2006
Got Married!
We tied the knot at a picturesque stately home (The Nash) in the village of Kempsey, before jetting off to Zanzibar for our honeymoon. I revelled in the creative and decorative side of the wedding planning!
2008
Built Property Portfolio
Andy and I started building a small portfolio of rental properties as an investment for our future. This project suited us both equally and we made a great team with the renovating and decorating side of things!
2013
The House Move
We bought our current house in 2013 and totally gutted and renovated it, creating our dream home (and haven’t stopped since). You’ll see snippets of the shell it once was if you hang around here on the blog.
2017
Caradise Is Born!
I created and launched my blog and was totally unaware of all the hard work it involves and feel like I’m constantly spinning plates! It’s been one of the most challenging but rewarding things I’ve ever done.

Instagram Hustling
Working hard to grow my blog and Instagram account and having fun continually renovating and decorating our house and garden, whilst juggling this with my day job as Administration Director for JCA.
