In our current climate of sustainability and caring for the environment, the idea of buying a novelty Valentine gift that doesn’t see the light of day after February 14th and ends up going to landfill just doesn’t sit well with me. I’m definitely more conscious when buying items now than I would have been a few years ago.
A great way to overcome this issue is to buy love themed home decor Valentine gifts that are appropriate to use or display in your home all year round. I’ve found some gorgeous ones to share with you.
Ceramic Love Word Ornament – Next £14
This champagne gold ornament says it all! Unfortunately no longer available, however, I’ve found an alternative love word ornament.
Peony Flower Arrangement In Pot – Dunelm £35
An artificial flower arrangement is a great alternative to fresh cut flowers on Valentine’s Day and you won’t be throwing it out after a week. This is unfortunately no longer available.
I love this bath rack from Dunelm. It’s made from sustainable material, extends to any size bath, and has compartments for a wine glass and book. What more could you ask for? A great gift for a loved one.
Who doesn’t appreciate a lovely candle? And with the glass being recyclable, you are also caring for the environment.
Neon LED Heart Light – Graham & Green £195
Made from environmentally conscious materials, this pink LED wall heart will light up any loved ones day (or year 😉 ). Update – this is no longer available, however, I’ve found an alternative *neon heart for you.
Andy bought me this gorgeous bouquet for Valentine’s Day last year and it’s still going strong and being displayed and enjoyed in our home! I hope you’ve seen something you like for your special someone in my home decor Valentine gifts round-up.
